Tenghilan

Tenghilan is a tiny town in Tuaran District of Sabah. Tenghilan is situated in between Kota Kinabalu and Kota Belud. Existing Tenghilan old and new township had been originally generated for its present growth and development by Tenghilan 1st generation Chinese cmmunity sometime over 60 years ago. It is believed that Tenghilan trading business originally began at Kampung Pangalan where a Chinese and Sino-Kadazan cemetery can be located since during world war II. The Pangalan river was also an access for water's trading goods transportation on those olden days. In addition, one would find Kampung Pangalan were and are also populated with Chinese heritage.
